We’re excited to announce that today saw the opening ceremony of our Saiga Kids’ Camp 2016. This year saiga camp welcomes 30 children with teachers from 3 saiga range areas: Nukus, Karakalpakstan and Jaslyk.
It is the second time when the leading participants of steppe wildlife clubs come together to explore local wildlife and learn about saigas, steppe ecosystem and conservation; to get the knowledge on ecology, art, eco-journalism. The camp takes place in a spectacular mountain area Yangiabad; the duration is 7 days.
The event is designed and organized by Saiga Conservation Alliance with a support of Club Penguin, Disney Canada.
