Quite often in the lens of camera traps installed on the territory of the Stepnoi Reserve in the Astrakhan Region, flocks of little bustards, the smallest of our bustards, appear. But here is a photo of a single bird – which is quite rare. It is interesting that the little bustard got its name from the style of its take-off – before flying, the bird shakes for a while, makes a squealing cry, and only then breaks off the ground and spreads its wings.
Нередко в объективе фотоловушек, установленных на территории Заказника «Степной» Астраханской области, появляются стаи стрепетов – самой мелкой из наших дроф. Но вот фото одиночной птицы – сюжет редкий. Интересно, что название стрепет получил от стиля своего взлета – перед тем как полететь птица некоторое время трясется, издает верещащий крик и только потом отрывается от земли и расправляет крылья.
