At the watering places, bright signs are displayed informing visitors of the Stepnoi Reserve about the depth of the artesian well, the mineral composition of the pouring water, and about those animals and birds that most often visit this or that watering place. Not far from the Reserve buildings, state inspectors installed a special drinking bowl, into which freshwater brought from afar by a water carrier is poured, so that the saigas have a choice of what water to drink.

У водопоев выставлены яркие объявления, информирующие посетителей заказника о глубине артезианской скважины, минеральном составе изливающейся воды и о тех животных и птицах, которые наиболее часто посещают тот или иной водопой. Недалеко от кордона государственные инспекторы установили специальную поилку, куда заливают пресную воду, привозимую издалека водовозом, чтобы у сайгаков был выбор, какую воду пить.
