Teenage Aspirations and Saiga Conservation - S. Elliott
Sophie Elliott explored whether the aspirations of teenagers in Kazakhstan could help inform new conservation initiatives. The research examined what young people hoped for in their future lives and considered how conservation activities could connect more meaningfully with their interests, opportunities, and priorities.
The study provided a different perspective on youth engagement by linking conservation planning with the aspirations of young people themselves. It offered evidence that could help shape education and community initiatives so they are more relevant to the lives of teenagers living in saiga landscapes.
