Assessment of a New Betpak-Dala Saiga Group - A. Putilin

Alexander Putilin worked on assessing the number of a newly identified saiga group within the Betpak-Dala population in Kazakhstan. The project addressed the need to understand the size and significance of this group within the wider population. It produced a better estimate of the group’s size and a clearer basis for incorporating it into monitoring and conservation planning.
