Project
Camera-Trap Study of Saiga Behaviour - E. Berezina
Ekaterina Berezina used photographs from camera traps placed near waterholes in Stepnoi Reserve to analyse the daily behaviour of saigas. The project drew on imagery collected over the previous two years to investigate patterns in how saigas used waterholes and behaved at different times of day.
The project produced a more detailed behavioural analysis from an existing monitoring dataset and increased the value of camera-trap work already being carried out at Stepnoi.
