Project
Communication and Protection at Stepnoi - V. Kalmykov
Vladimir Kalmykov developed communication and visitor-support capacity linked to saiga protection in the north-western Caspian, including infrastructure that could support outreach at Stepnoi. The project recognised that effective protection depends not only on enforcement but also on communication with the people who live around and visit saiga habitat.
The project strengthened the reserve’s ability to communicate its work, engage visitors and local audiences, and support the wider protection programme.
