Construction of an ecological trail in the “Stepnoi” nature reserve - A. Khludnev

Small Grants Project Education & Awareness · Protecting Saigas on the Ground Russia 2007 ← Back to archive

Anatoliy Khludnev developed an ecological trail within Stepnoi Reserve in Russia, creating a way for visitors and local audiences to learn more about the reserve, its steppe wildlife and the saiga antelope. The project combined interpretation and access with the wider conservation work taking place in and around this important protected area.

The project provided a practical tool for environmental education at Stepnoi and created another way for the reserve to communicate the value of saiga conservation.
