Project
Diet Selection and Livestock Overlap in Mongolian Saigas - B. Chuluunbat
Bayarmaa Chuluunbat studied diet selection and overlap between Mongolian saigas and livestock. The project examined how wildlife and domestic animals use shared forage resources in western Mongolia, where livestock production and saiga conservation take place in the same landscape.
The research generated new evidence on the extent to which saigas and livestock rely on similar food resources, helping inform future research and grazing-management discussions.
