Identifying Saiga Breeding Sites - S. Erdenebaatar

Young Conservation Leaders Project Research & Monitoring Mongolia 2015 ← Back to archive

Sergelen Erdenebaatar continued work to identify important breeding sites for Mongolian saigas. Building on earlier field experience, the project focused on improving knowledge of where saigas reproduce and which areas may be particularly important during the breeding season.

The work added information on breeding-site locations that could support future monitoring, habitat-focused conservation, and decisions about where to concentrate field attention.
