Project
Jetkinshek Newspaper and Ekoha'retek Wildlife Club - B. Sultamuratov
Begis Sultamuratov used the children’s newspaper “Jetkinshek” and the “Ekoha'retek” Wildlife Club to share information about saigas with young people in Uzbekistan. Activities included publishing facts, quizzes and stories, running a competition for readers and holding ecological meetings with local children.
The project provided students with repeated exposure to saiga conservation messages over many months through reading, competitions, and face-to-face activities, strengthening the local platform for youth conservation education.
