Yan Xie worked to enhance the capacity of government law-enforcement agencies to address illegal saiga horn trade in Guangzhou, China. The project focused on the practical ability of authorities to recognise, understand and respond to illegal trade in saiga products.

The project strengthened enforcement capacity around saiga horn trade and increased institutional attention to identifying and responding to illegal wildlife products.
