Migratory Species Day School Festival - O. Esipova
Olya Esipova organised a Migratory Species Day festival in schools in Uzbekistan, using activities and events to introduce young people to migratory wildlife and the conservation of saigas. The project placed saigas within the broader story of migration across the steppe and encouraged schools to take part in conservation-themed learning.
The festival created direct engagement with school communities and strengthened the platform for youth-focused education about saigas and other migratory species.
