Mongolian Saiga Calving Area Survey - S. Erdenebaatar
Sergelen Erdenebaatar carried out a survey to identify Mongolian saiga calving areas using field transects from June to August, with support from local rangers and a university student. The project focused on locating and documenting areas important for reproduction so they could receive greater conservation attention.
The survey generated field information on potential calving areas and provided practical experience in collaborative research involving local rangers and a university student.
