Mongolian Saiga Population Estimate and Spatial Modelling - B. Bayarbaatar
Buuveibaatar Bayarbaatar carried out population estimation and spatial modelling of Mongolian saigas. The project used quantitative approaches to improve understanding of how many saigas remained and how they were distributed across their range in western Mongolia.
The research produced updated population and spatial information that could support conservation decisions, future surveys, and longer-term monitoring.
