Project
Public Attitudes Towards Ural Saiga Conservation - B. Sarsenova
Bibigul Sarsenova investigated public attitudes towards the conservation of the Ural saiga population in Kazakhstan. The project focused on how people understood saiga conservation and the challenges surrounding it, recognising that social attitudes are an important part of long-term coexistence.
The research generated evidence on public perceptions that could help conservationists design engagement and management approaches that better reflect local views and concerns.
