Satellite Monitoring of Saiga Groups - A. Yachmennikova & V. Rozhnov
Anna Yachmennikova and Vyacheslav Rozhnov used high-resolution satellite imagery to monitor saiga groups across large areas of steppe in Russia. The approach was designed to estimate distribution over a broad landscape while avoiding the disturbance that can accompany closer or more intrusive survey methods.
