Stepnoi Saiga Protection - V. Kalmykov
Vladimir Kalmykov received an Excellence in Saiga Protection award in recognition of his long-running work as Director of Stepnoi Reserve in the Astrakhan region of Russia. His role has involved coordinating protection, monitoring, and conservation activity in one of the most important areas for the north-western Pre-Caspian saiga population.
