Stepnoi Surveillance - O. Vorontseva & B. Fourie

Olga Vorontseva and Babette Fourier developed the “Stepnoi Surveillance” project, focused on monitoring and research of saigas in Stepnoi Reserve in Russia. The work was designed to strengthen observation of saigas within an important protected area and add information that could support day-to-day conservation management.

The project added surveillance and research capacity at Stepnoi, strengthening the information available to the reserve team for ongoing monitoring and conservation management.
